H-m-m-m-m...  I guess I need to experiment more as I can't get mine to "up shift" once it's in Manual Mode.  It'll just stay in M2 and continue to rev at redline.  Whazup with that? Confused

I don't know if they are all like that.  LEPRECN is an early '05 if that makes a difference.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one confused by the paddles - finally came up with this as a mnemonic:  Push on the paddle - car decelerates - nose goes down - - pull on the paddle - car accelerates - nose goes up  (push the nose down - pull the nose up) - works for me in WOODSTOCK which I only get to drive to the store or gas station...

Ok ... this sounds WAY more confusing than my plain old 6 speed and clutch.  Guess I'll have to try it next time I get a loaner from MINI.

Hey Pat: As long as you have it hanging around your garage, post some pics of this thing.

weird.

Tell me about it. I went from *calculates km/l to mpg*  around 30.1mpg to 26.1mpg over 3 months from using the sport button. I have a late 2007 AT and I don't mind it in late evening Seattle traffic but wanting a JCW kit sometimes makes me wish i went for a manual Angry

PS: I always drive it in "paddle-mode" or "fake-stick-mode".

I gotta tell you, Miniphatty - the autoshifter is really good.  I am VERY impressed with the waaahhhooooooo!!!!! factor when you put your foot to it.  Other than a bit of hesitation from start with the shifter in D, this is really cool.  Don't like the hesitation with the stick in D?  Go to the M setting and put your foot down - waaaaaahhhhooooooooo!!!!!!

Scooop - don't think there are going to be pictures.  I ain't ever gonna get it...  There's no bolts to turn with a wrench on this here computer box...  Sorry.

Poor little Onramp.  I was down at the dealership today, to put money down and my order in for my new mini.  When we drove up, I saw him sitting there all lonely.  :(

cheers,

Hope you told him that I miss him, and will come get him as soon as the "10 days" for the parts comes to an end.  I called Friday (day 11) and the parts hadn't come in yet...

There are expectations to you know, especially when you return from that trip you have scheduled Thumbs%20Up.
