2013 4th of July Parades Bothell and Burien - Event Date: July/04/13

I did both parades too, and it was a HOOT! 

Put us down for this! Did it last year with Buddy (my dog) driving the car. The kids thought that was great. Such fun.

We are considering this....I know we loved the Burien parade when we did it. (a couple yrs ago)  

FUN! I'm assuming more information is forthcoming?

It's official. We are signed up for the Burien Parade too!!   Stay tuned for more details, but we will probably que up at Han's Deli again, that seemed to work well last year.
Looking for a pilot car for the post-parade promenade around Three Tree Point.

Looks like we're going to have very cooperative weather.

Everyone, just arrive!! There is no need to pre-register, although it would be good to get a half-way head count here on the forum. Burien says we are limited to about 20 cars, but we always stretch that a bit with no problem. I guess just reply on the forum, I have minimal skills in making a separate entry page, or doing anything on Facebook. (I haven't even seen a PSMINI Facebook page)

We will be staging at Han's Deli parking lot in Burien, 717 SW 148th St. It's not our private lot, but it worked pretty well last year. Look for my yellow MCS convertible.

The parade is at 3:00, I'll be there by 1:00, it would be good to arrive by whatever time you need to decorate your car in patriotic-style, with ribbons, flags, balloons, etc, ( check the dollar store or the party store for stuff) and be ready to parade by about 2:45.

Of course if you're coming from Bothell, (and I hope you are) just fly in and we'll get you in line.

I know there are some super-cool decorators out there, anybody want to describe their plans?? Imaginations abound, there are no decorating rules, (well, nothing obscene, no nudity)

Speaking of rules though, NO throwing anything, even candy, from cars, no alcohol, and you WILL have fun.

Is the club banner going to both parades, we will need a couple of banner bearers to walk in front of our weaving cars.

We should be there for Bothell. Big Red goes into the shop Wednesday morning and God willing she'll be ready for pick up by the afternoon.
