Fantastic event.  Fantasic shines.

Good show all.

BTW, as we were closing up, a fellow came by from Alta Performance and gave me a stubby antenna.  Spotted my CAI and said he was giving them to folks how had Alta products showing.

Thanks Alta!

Daag! Ik ben Hollands, zo ik kan en klein beetje Afrikaans verstaan.  Jij bent Afrikaans?

The above is in Dutch, and it is no way insulting to anyone or anything.  The first message to Dave is actually meant for all the people who put in all the work for the show.  When I started the topic, I was very excited, and didn't say what I meant to say (remember that I couldn't find the word for dashboard this morning, so I am intellectually inadequate.)  What a wonderful bunch of people, and it was so neat to see all the Classic Minis.  My mother especially enjoyed them.  It was also nice to meet so many other MINI enthusiasts.

Thanks, everyone, for a wonderful day!

King 5 just ran it again.  Said there were 75 private Minis and fun for all ages.  Showed mostly Classics.  The anchor mentioned the club by name.

Hmm – I must be watching a different feed – Perhaps I shouldn’t have been watching 5.1 (HD).

great event!  Thanks to all who stopped by to say hi!  Sorry if I missed you, I had to keep walking around to stay cool!

I really wish the car toys tent was not there.  Cost me $100.  Well, at least the MINI will have XM satellite radio.  Bought the wife the XM boombox and got another receiver free.  Of course I am lucky, I wanted to spend another $300.....

I wanted to take the time to say thanks for all the sponsers, volunteers, participants, and Mini lovers who were in attendace. My son and I had a wonderful time.

"Baldrick" the 02 Cooper had a good showing also.

I would only suggest that for future joint activities between PSMINI and SAMOA that we find a quiet spot and Keep the Riff Raff at bay.

"Rowan" - 1971 Mini Clubman Turbo - Plates: RELMINI

Great fun, and great pictures. Thanks for sharing.

But we had to sneak out early due to the heat and ringing in our ears. The
other cars on display were fun, but the competing noise was, well you know.

So, can someone provide the list of the big winners? Both MINI and Mini
please.

Thanks,
Michael & Carol

True - true.  Infact I gave the plaque to my daughter!  Of course the generous voting by psmini members I know probably didn't hurt either.  There were a LOT of really good cars there yesterday.  Pretty cool.

Now - on another subject, where do all these auto tuners get all their money from?  I have a theory that doesn't involve criminal activity. . . .

They all live at home with their mothers and don't have to pay rent or make mortgage payments

Great Show!  Kudos to all those who put it together.  I know the SAMOA guys had a great time and would welcome future combined club events.  The only draw back for me was the loud, obnoxious music  coming from the South end of the parking lot.  It was so loud it was almost impossible to carry on a normal conversation with anyone, and if you were more than 50 feet from the PSMINI stage, you couldn't hear anything that was said over the PA system.

Not only obnoxious but quite likely illegal in public.  Geeze - I had my kids there, two of whom are 8 and under.

Thanks to everyone that made the Mini Car show a reality!!! This was the first event that I have been a part of and I had a lot of fun meeting other Mini owners. Thanks for the pictures too, I had forgotten my camera and was bumed about that.

Also, I want to send a big thanks to the the sponsors and those who gave things to raffle off. There were some great prizes, and I was happy to win one of them!!!

I look forward to doing it again next year.

It really takes a lot of work to make it look easy.  We want to thank those of you who took the time to get this event up and running and the work that was done on a very hot Saturday.  It went very smoothly and that is directly related to the amount of work you gave.

Thanks,

The Seattle Area Mini Owners Association (SAMOA) would like to thank PSMINI for including us in the ALL MINI Day at Northgate. We enjoyed the event and I'm sure it will be a big topic of discussion at our montly meeting on Tuesday night; that is, if our voices and hearing return in time!

Well organized and the obvious flaws were certainly beyond any of the organizers control.

FYI, the young lady posing with the 60s outfit and the Italian map book by the Innocenti Mini (Italian made Mini -- there were three at the event) did a wonderful job. If you have ever seen 60s Mini sale brochures she fit the role perfectly!

I attempted a walk around to see some of the "tuner" cars, but the music was just to painful. For some reason I wandered around behind the Car Toys Semi (the one making the majority of the racket) and found a large power cable going to the truck. Also found the main connector. You have no idea how hard it was to walk away!

Chuck Heleker, SAMOA President
