Monnie and I had a wonderful time, thanks to all who made it happen.  This was our first opportunity to take part in a MINI/Mini event.  We really enjoyed the Southend Rally to the Rally and the Rally to Northgate.  The membership as a whole made us feel very comfortable and we will become much more active.  Thanks to all the Southenders for a great drive into Seattle.

Thanks,  Milo & Monnie

Thanks to Dave, Meg, Mike and Rox for getting this organized for us.  We had a great time.  It was fun seeing some new faces.  I know of two new members we recruited from our little patch of shade in the back corner of the lot.  Not sure if we can do anything about the LOUD music for next year ... maybe some earmuffs with the MINI logo on them?  Next year I'll remember to take some preventative Aleve before I leave the house.

Congrats to all that organized the show.  It looked very well put together, with a fine representation of MINIs and Minis.  Honestly, I never knew there was such a variety of Minis in the Seattle area.

I let the digital camera at home, but I have a few photos I snapped in my brief appearance on site.  I'll upload them to my server at home tonight or tomorrow, rather than take up space in the forum (no jabs intended, truly).

I didn't get to meet up with just about anyone, but RobN, thanks for taking the time to chat.

Eagerly awaiting my chance to show off my pride and joy.  Here's to a quick four more weeks, then the joy that comes from quick corning and zippy acceleration.  :)

Excellent!  I love it.  Makes the stretch H2 look ridiculous, IMO.  Of course, I also feel that an H2 just looks silly to begin with...

What a testament to the folks who are the world of MINIS!  New MINIS, classic MINIS--surrounded by MINIS is a great way to spend a day.  Congratulations to all who won, but as MINI owners we are all WINNERS!!!!!!!!!   Thanks to Dave, Mike, & Meg for all their hard work.

Dave,

I got the following from Minis of Washington.  Seems like they enjoyed our event as well:

From what I saw PSMINI did a great job, they were organized and
kept things flowing. The prizes they raffled off were great; no cheap
stuff. I had a blast......even joined PSMINI along with a few other
people, looks like PSMINI is going to be a great thing for MINI owners.

Again, Congrats on putting on a great event.

Gina

Ooops, I posted my kudos on the other portion of the website. Should have looked closer, but there's only so much of this you should do when you're supposed to be working. Anyway, well done to everyone involved! I look forward to next year. Mike, we're going to have to start pushing the Vancouver club now. I've already offered to lead the drive down next year. Had a great time. Actually spent more time with Ken, the other Canadian entry, than with my husband. No wonder we confused you Mike.

Congrats to all involved.

Kathy

Thanks! Yeah, I spent a good hour stitching and editing.  I had to remove a giant white van parked next to the mini's that was distracting too.  I checked out your site and you have taken some great photos. I really liked your sunset and seattle pics!

Thanks for the look-see, Tweety.  I've actually got my degree in photography.  What do I do with it now?  About what you saw in the more recent photos.  ;)  Oh, and take photos of my son.  My wife doesn't like her picture taken.  :)

You did a great job on that stitch.  I can not tell where the van was in the photo.

Thanks to all the organizers for putting on a great day and making a not-yet member feel so welcome. (The check is in the mail, guys, especially as I even won a raffle prize!)

I don't suppose there was much that could be done about the punishing music from the south end of the lot, which did indeed seem to drive some visitors off too quickly. But if KJR comes aboard again next year, you know, I'd rather listen to KJR oldies... at perhaps slightly reduced volume. Maybe they could do a remote broadcast from the scene?

Several of us had the same idea taking pictures of the stretch Hummer and our MINIs. It occurred to me later driving home we could have lined up 3 of the classic Minis next to the Hummer for a great photo. After I took the picture above, an SUV stopped and took our picture and waved before driving off.

Thanks to everyone who put in countless hours to make this car show a great success!

I finally have the time to download the pics from my camera .. Didn't take many pics due to the glare from the sun, plus my DSLR died on me a few weeks earlier so I walked around with Sony point and shoot.  Anyway here are some pics
