Saw that mentioned elsewhere.  Been thinking about it myself, especially since the chrome strip appears to be rusing a bit in the back.  I imagine that it just takes a failr amound of patience, any other prep work to do this?

Just cleaning the area first.  Not very hard to do, just want to get a quality pinstripe tape.

150ft $13 plus shipping can most likely do 3-4 cars easy.

While we are on the subject of de-chroming Mini's. Does anyone have any suggestions on how someone like myself could paint the 2 chrome strips on the front of YakiMini and the 1 on the boot?

Since I have Black Rims and will soon have a black grills, I'm thinking that removing chrome would look nice!!! (or sweet! Whichever you prefer) I am also running thru my head the possibility of painting the lower air dam grill black as well while I have the front end apart

YakiMini will be one cool dude/Mini when I get thru with her.
