Hi - my hi-voltage coil has a terminal with a lot of corrosion on it due to a cracked spark-plug cable boot.  Just wondering if anyone out there upgraded to an after market higher voltage output and has a spare floating around?

Hope springs eternal :-)

Thanks guys - good to be posting again.  Sorry - so on again off again!

The coil is same as Chrysler so lots of after market out there.  Looks like I should be able to get one for a lot less than a genuine MINI part.  I put the old spark plug wires (OEM) up in the attic space above my garage when I replaced them for MINI Accessory high performance parts.  When I found the bad wire I figured - put the old ones down from the attic.  Believe it or not they'd been chewed up by mice!

Yuck!!

The Pathfinder had to have two wires replaced due to chewing.  I seem to remember reading somewhere that the insulation for the wires has soy in the mix so it is favorable to rodentia.
