Anyone else a Craft Beer Snob like me? Would like to get a tally of other Mini drivers willing to make runs to different breweries around the Northwest. So many around WA and OR. DD required

Awesome! So far I'm going to list the places I have been and places that I would like to go to.
Pyramid Brewing is always a given. But there are local breweries in the South end that have been very great to me as well. Narrows Brewing comes to mind especially, great view of Narrows Bridge from the large windows. Great roomy area and friendly staff. Along with a Brewery Tour every Tuesday, i believe. Also, Fishtale Brewery/Pub down in Oly City Center. Then we have Elk head down in buckley. Or.... on the weekend Elk head comes down to Ocean Shores! To go even further Lompoc and Hopworks in the PDX. I have wishes to check out Elysian (Seattle) as well as Silver City (Bremerton), Rogue (Portland). List all the places you guys think would be a great run. So far I really think Narrows Brewing would be a great run, They also encourage/allow food from outside places. (Next Door is Boathouse19) Along with a scenic route behind Sunny Side beach, great parking (usually) then down to Chambers park/golf courses (parking can be a hassle though on weekends down on the lower level of the golf course.) Everyone just list out wish lists of breweries and places that you have had great experiences at, and we will go from there. OH also adding, Doyle's Pub in Downtown Tacoma nice drive around the docks and some Sounders and Rugby viewings ;) Hope to Mini with you guys soon. These adventures will be called - "Micros and Minis!" Chapter (Brewery Name Here) Edited by FunSizeDriver - May/08/14 at 5:17pm |

This week the seattlepi.com had a post with a great list of Seattle's breweries (the page says south side but the slideshow of the ones north of I-90 is at the bottom of the page):

Please add 7 Seas. Been wanting to go there.
And now it's a 3 day trip :P Keep up the planning. Sounds like there are a couple different tours you could do. If you'd like to get the PDX club involved let me know and I'll get you a contact. Additionally, we have a handful of individuals who do the Mcmenamins Passport stamp thing. Adding a couple of those locations on the journey would be helpful to a few folks. |
