Is there any easy way to post an iPhone photo? Every time I try to use a photo from my phone I get an error message saying a photo with that name already exists. I then have to email the photo to myself, open it on my laptop, and rename it before it can be uploaded. There must be an easier way.

Good luck Mitch! I have been agonizing with the photo naming convention for years!
Maybe the Site could make it so IF there was a duplicate name it would just generate a #2 or whatever after the name and get on with publishing it to the site!??! |

I wish there was a local MINI Dealership, like our Honda, Subaru, Mazada and VW.

There is no easy way.
The fact that you got the "name already exists" means the file was uploaded. The problem is after upload the way the forum notifies the browser isn't compatible with iOS. If you click on "Member Control Panel" and then "File Manager" you'll see the files you have loaded and what the system stored/named them. You can use any of those photos in a post by using the following BBCode:
Where "1603" is some ID you can get by editing any of your existing posts with a photo. Remove the spaces between [ ] and IMG I realize that isn't entirely helpful but it's the only way I've found how to do it. Is to upload, let it finish by giving you the duplicate, and then using the BBCode above to put it in the post. Edited by ipeverywhere - November/30/13 at 4:56pm |
