Thanks Mike for putting this together.

Great drive, great place to eat and great people driving great cars on a great day.

That about sums it up.

Took Peppa the scenic route home.  The grin in my mirror was blinding.

Mike,
Thanks for putting this together.  I had a lot of fun.
My son took a few pictures, I'll post them once I edit them!

I enjoyed meeting everybody!

Oops - guess I didn't get that quote thing just right. . .

Just wanted to say that we had a fantastic first event and met some really great people as well!  Rob & Vicky gave us an extra treat on the back roads going home and he's right, we couldn't stop smiling!!

Too much fun - I even noticed Peppa's bumber was slightly turned up at the corners when we put her away tonight!  Loved it and the roads were wonderful.

Good job MIKE, well planned out ride.  Thanks to everyome that turned out.  If we can get 25 MINI's on a cold day I can not wait to see how many we can get on a nice warm day.

We saved the route directions for future use.  Great drive, Mike!  We went to Black Diamond last weekend, but we were apparently route-challenged.  If we had only known....

Thanks again!

Here are some pictures my son and I took.

I've been messing around with Google Earth and my GPS and I recorded our route.  I added some placemarks with pictures along the way.

This is the first time I've done something like this - I had problems editing the parts where I lost satellite coverage (no, we weren't off-roading).  If you know a better way to do this, let me know!

Ahhh, excellent choice of routes!  Tiger Mountain road is a fun one.  My son wanted me to "drive speedy" when we went to a b-day party out there a few months ago.

Might I also suggest Lawson St. out of Black Diamond, which later becomes SE Green River Gorge Rd.  Follow that as it bends to the right to become 293rd Ave SE, then the interesting part comes as you cross over a one-lane bridge.  After you double back there is areverse "Y" in the road that goes uphill back again, and is once again Green Rover Gorge Rd. This comes to SE 352nd St, where you take a left.  Take another left at Veazie-Cumberland Rd. until you get to Retreat-Kanasket Rd., where you take another left.  This comes to Kent-Kangley, where you can go straight into Ravensdale and past the Ravensdale Market, as seen on this weekends drive.

Just wanted to echo what's been said already, Mike you did a "Great Job" on the road selection. You actually found a new road for me. Thanks for all the planning you did.
