I searched and searched, and surprisingly it looks like no one's ever posted about this.
Where do you recommend for a good alignment shop? Do you go to your local Firestone? Do you have a more specialty place that you go? I've gone to Tru-Line in the past, and they're great, and also $180 plus tax. I live in Northgate, don't mind traveling a bit, but don't want to get stuck somewhere for a couple hours if it's going to take that long. Thanks! Jason

Dealership, isn't Seattle Mini closer to you? or a decent racing shop, like Group 2. I do my best to avoid places like Firestone, Sears or Les Schwab.

I know at least one MINI camper who is happy with Firestone. They have a lifetime alignment plan where you never pay for an alignment again. Firestone can only set the alignment to OEM specifications though, so it's not an option if you track your car or want more say over toe, camber, etc.

Guess I'll go to FS then. Hope they can get it as close as possible with the fixed camber plates.

Seattle MINI runs specials occasionally for about $95 which is pretty good. I have my performance alignments done by Cantrell Motorsports in Bellevue. They do great work and I believe charge about $115-125 or so.

We've been to Omni Brake & Alignment (Kirkland) in the past - great folks. But lately our cars have mostly gone to Seattle MINI - Raychel takes awesome care of us. |

My only concern is my fixed camber plates. I don't think it'll be too big an issue, but since most places only work with the factory specs, I don't know if anyone but a performance shop can properly align.
He's going to Tru-Line on Monday.
