Hi all, I am looking for not so expensive performance modifications for my 2012 base model Countryman. Not looking to do heavy engine modification but some little things that can improve performance. If you know a good place please let me know.

Thanks!

Might look into a mild "tune" or a cold air intake?

Do you have any details or suggestions where to look to get either one of them done? Thanks!

Hey,

I have a 14 countryman and I added a Burger tune (chip) http://burgertuning.com/Mini_Cooper_S_N18_JB_performance_tuner.html

I added ALTA cold Air Intake

And added Borla Perfomance exhaust (not touring)

All in cost is about $1100 and can feel the difference and is sounds way better. Kurt Hammond is awesome with installing stuff and did my exhaust and cold air. The chip is plug and play.

Racing strips make it faster too, I recommend a few of those if you don't have any.

Happy motoring

Brett

Hey Brett,

I looked in to the Burger tune chip but it says you need to have a the Turbo or Sports model for it to work. Mine is non-turbo, can you let me know if your's is non-turbo as well. Also where can I find Kurt Hammond?

I am on fence for racing stripes as I think it may just make it too Fast...

My email is KURT (aaatttt) hammond   JP   . com
I can turn a wrench good for installing parts or performing repairs, but I can't make a tune.
Plan ahead, I am booked weeks in advance these days.
