Since we live so close to the Varsity Grill (and its another excuse to drive) we are more than happy to come earlier on Sunday (or on Saturday if you are doing any work then) to help with any setting up or other chores that may need to be done.

I'm one of the somewhat "earlies". My husband Steve and I plan on showing up to help out at 1 p.m., and we'll be leaving from church so I don't if we'll be able to participate in a convoy (although I'd love to)...

We're leaving early as well to help greet. of course, by early I mean that Mr. Cupcake will be waiting with the car running at an appropriate time, phoning Mrs. Cupcake who is still inside the house trying to get herself ready and pleading with the little Cupcakes to brush their teeth and put on socks.

Unfortunately, this close to the party, I don't think Jeff can accomodate additional people for the buffet. that being said, you could bring a friend to participate in the adult beverages and dessert pot-luck. :) (Bringing food for the food bank means raffle tickets & participation there as well.)
