Hi dawiese (Daryl... correct?), I love the black on black... It looks very sharp.
 Is that an early 70's Triumph motorcycle? Both are very nice rides indeed.  My hubby Steve (steve518 on the forum) has a '77 75/7 BMW we take out occasionally.

You got it! It was a 72' 650 Triumph that I built and recently sold. : ( But... I replaced it with a shiny new thruxton to do some longer rides on. Hoping to find another old Triumph as a fun project.
i would love to see the old Beemer. Love those bikes as they are so unique and have that great classic look.

Have you ever participated in the VME (Vintage Motorcyclist Enthusiasts) poker run on Vashon Island? It's usually held on the 1st or 2nd Sunday in September. It's tons of fun... Unfortunately, we'll be out of town this year. It's September 7th this year. |

Hello! I found my MINI 'Emma' in Iowa thru an online romance of sorts this July, drove her home to Olympia and have been madly in love with her ever since :)
Here she is in the Badlands, SD; my boyfriends' cat enjoying the sun on her dash; and me, being a goof at a MayDay celebration. Wow, I'm impressed how relaxed your boyfriend's cat is on the dash. Did he/she make the whole trip from Iowa to Washington? My cats don't like to ride in any type of vehicle. |

Nope, the kitty was adopted here in Olympia (where I've lived for 16 years - perhaps my post was confusing... I found the car on AutoTrader online, flew out to Iowa, and drove it back).
We've been making an effort since 'Sammy' was a kitten to take him out in the car for fun trips to the pet stores and parks regularly... and he (obviously!) doesn't mind at all.  I think you've gotta start when they're young, and make it a routine for it to work.

A very nice November day! Here is a picture of my husband, John, and daughter, Andrea, who both designed and secretly ordered a MINI for me in April of this year and and then surprised me with it on the 4th of July! Next to my husband is our Australian Shepherd, Jack Grayson Cranthcorpool Waveyhill, who we rescued from a shelter in 2000. I am holding our 2-year-old Scottish West Highland Terrier, MacKenzie Jillian of Duart. The second picture is of my remote control MINI that John and Andrea gave to me for Christmas in 2004. We already knew you have a GREAT family when we heard they bought you a MINI! Now we see they are all great looking too!
Great looking dogs too! I've wanted a Westie longer than I wanted a MINI! One of these days . . .something always happens to put it off further, but I've always thought I'd love to have a Westie. Your shepard looks like a Blue Merle . . .beautiful dog!
Your blue MINI is gorgeous! The Lightning Blue looks a lot like my 2006 MINI's Hyper Blue.
