I wish I hadn't read that.  Table dancing just won't be the same for a while.  Cry

Made my reservation at Bartons.  Just a word to all, while the weather in Vegas should be lovely, when we went through the mountains and in Jackpot last year it was really cold and icy.  You'll need to bring a coat AND your bermudas.  I posted it on another thread, but what the heck, this is the extended forecast for Las Vegas (courtesy of CNN.com):

Yes, Gina is correct. High altitude and cold. When we left Jackpot at 6AM it was 14 degress...brrrrrr! Also watch for the coyotes and jackrabbits...major roadkill on that route.

If my calculations are right...5 days, 16 hours, 30 mins until AMVIV! And only one more working day for some, unlike WF and MiniCharley who get to leave on Monday. Getting excitedLOL

Packed?  I thought we were just going to buy clothes along the way.....oh, wait.  Jackpot and Casino clothes might not be exactly the best idea for a fashion statement.....

Yesterday opened up a whole new world for me!  CINIMIN became a "parts" car for WOODSTOCK's trip to Vegas!  Someone in the house is not exactly thrilled about that, needless to say.....

I'm still shopping, Karin.....
Actually, we had to swap a pulsing brake light which we'll replace when we catch up with Dave in Vegas, but it did get me thinking about other upgrades.  Think he'd miss the sway bar?  The GBT?  The cold air intake?.....

Sure glad I washed kulmini yesterday, nothing but heavy rain and cold here this morning.  I will go out and do some garage stuff later.  I do hope it clears up a bit before Tuesday, especially the snow in the highlands.  I am off work for the next two weeks so life is good.

Well, that adventure got downright chilly towards the end, but it had to be done.  Now all ready for "new dirt".

Bring it on!  Martin didn't even bother washing the outside of my car.  OH well, the Purple color is under there somewhere.

I washed my car too and put on the protective bra that Santa brought me.  Talk about a chore!  But I think I did it right - at least it is on and  I can worry a little less about damage to my finish.  (Pixie Dust had a big issue with that last year.)  I'm looking forward to seeing all your bright shiny faces/cars in North Bend on Tuesday.

Washed 4lfclvr yesterday and cleaned the inside. Only to be told by Karen that it will be dirty by the time we get to Vegas. I told her as long as it is "clean" in North Bend for our friends that is all that counts. Then we will go to a car wash in Vegas then can you say "Speed Shine". We don't have a garage so 4lfclvr sat in the driveway today and will tomorrow waiting for the trip. One day and a wake up!!!

I agree with Angie and had to laugh out loud when the Disneyland commercial came on this morning. I'm too excited to sleep.

Linda, Tell CINIMIN that the ultimate sacrifice for a family member is an organ donation. In this case it is a part donation or two or three???

We haven't packed but we are working on our music selections for the trip.

See all of you in North Bend!!

I was looking at the maps this morning and Great Basin National Park is not too far off the track. I have a goal to visit all the National Parks before I die so we may take a little side trip over there to collect a stamp on our National Park Passport.

Karin..go ahead and go through Great Basin...it really only adds about 30 minutes to the drive and it's a very pretty route.
