Hi JISH!  Welcome to the club - always nice to have another Chili Red from the North end joining us - Please take a minute and tell us more about you and your MINI - pictures are welcome!

This is my first MINI!  I decided not to go with an S because it's hard keeping it under 90 as it is!  As I said, it is Chili Red with a Blackjack roof graphic, nothing special with tires and wheels or stripes (yet!), but I do get 41mpg.  I did splurge and get my Ipod hookup.  I LOVE my car!  I think I want to have one for every day of the week, different colors.  I met Hapa67 (Brenda) at Northwest Mini and she suggested I join.  So here I be!

Speaking of events, I was at Griot's today and they told me that the Oregon group is meeting there this Saturday (4/19) with a few of the PS MINI people joining them. I guess it's mainly an Oregon event so would it be rude if I just showed up?

I say if there is a mini there is a way  I crack myself up....

About the Tulip Rallye. CINIMIN (Jack) & WOODSTOCK (Linda) are coordinating with meeting at Smokey Point.  Here's what Jack (CINIMIN) had to say in the first link I provided you above:

 

North-enders just meet at Smoky Point - People to the south will coordinate their own caravans to arrive at the Big Meet Up at Smoky Point Rest Stop at the suggested time of 8:00 AM.    I request that PSMINI MINIs park at the far north end of the Rest Stop parking lot as we do not want to block the non-MINI users of the Rest Stop and create problems.  If we get the expected turnout there will be LOTS of MINIs and we may have to double park some.  Do not block normal traffic, don't have your discussions in the middle of the parking lot, and do everything you can do to create a favorable impression of our club.   We will pre stage our departure on the exit from the rest stop to I-5, travel as a loose group to the Valley Mall exit  and then we will regroup on the back side of Valley Mall before making our grand entrance to the Rally registration area.  Make room for cars merging on to the freeway and for those who want to get into the exit lanes.  Our time line allows for a relaxed drive to Valley Mall.     For those not used to driving in the far north, the area around Marysville is watched carefully by the SP - in cars and in airplanes.  If you are late for the meet up - this is not the place to make up time...

Welcome to this wild and crazy group. Hope you meet you at the Tulip Rally or caravan at Holiday Inn on 128th & I-5 around 7ish. Let me know so we will know to wait.
