Well, I had a down afternoon, and decided to jump in on something I read in the forums, here's the result:

Removing the chrome was super easy, I just put the tail lights in the oven @ 250 for 5 minutes. After that, it was just some light dremeling at the glue, and some scary prying to get the cover off. After that, it was just a liberal use of rubbing alcohol, epoxy them back together, and there ya go.

Btw, these will be up for sale soon!

They look great Brian!  I've been thinking about doing the same on mine.

Because this was the experiment set. I've got something else that's going on the car (pics soon Wink) But because it turned out well, I'll sell these to those who want them.

Nice work. Reminds me of the Joey mod over on NAM, which I really like.

Are there any scratches from your work.. Just have to ask as I am looking for some.
Tristan
FYI, Euro Tail Lights suck! When 1 bulb burns out you have to replace the whole light bracket since they sotter the bulbs on so that ppl can't change the color of the bulbs :-/

no visible scratches from the work. A little scratching from the prying, but that's not visible once the lights are in.  In removing the chrome, all that I used was rubbing alcohol and cotton balls.

Otherwise, sorry Rev....

Groovetini,
I hope I'm not bugging, but I was wondering if you had a time frame that you'd be willing to part with them?
Thanks
