Well, at least screwing up the date, gave you guys a heads up that I would not be there. As before, I hope that everybody had fun.

Hi all,
I ran into Navtech last weekend while changing the oil in my MINI. He told me a little about your group and mentioned your drive tomorrow. If y'all don't mind a last minute addition to your group, I would very much enjoy the opportunity to see some more of WA and to hang out with some folks who don't talk down about MINIs. I'm in Silverdale, and don't think I should have too much difficulty finding the KM park on 3. I'll be the one in the Hyper Blue MIN w/ Texas plates.

ok - well not exactly hibernation - but Linda says no to the early start so . . . family first I'm afraid.

Hey, guys, I posted yesterday that I wasn't going to be able to make it and I see you still have me on the list. I just want to make sure that the folks at 512 don't wait around for me!

unless I'm really out of it here ... the ride is tomorrow (Sunday, November 16) so you haven't missed it yet! If you get a good nights sleep, maybe we'll see you tomorrow? If I have misunderstood, I'm going to be the only one at the Kitsap Memorial Park tomorrow morning at 8:15 am or so

pssst, Minihaha, the ride's tomorrow......
Dave, I'm hoping we can be there by 6:45. I don't know how crowded the ferry will be. Prolly not too. I'd love it if a bunch of us could board together. Now if only we could get the ferry folk to let us have the front of each lane.....

Sorry that I was not able to make the South-end group at 7:00am. I had full intentions at 10:00pm when I went to bed, but woke up at 2:00am w/ a sore throat w/ sinus and chest congestion. That was the last time I slept last night. It was particulary dissapointing when I saw my new digital camera, walkie talkie, and sun glasses on the kitchen table this morning. The weather looks good and I hope that everyone had a fun and safe trip. Maybe next year...

Not sure on the resturaunt last timewe did this there was a new one accross from the grocery store. If not the Hungrey Bear will work great. Thanks
As for getting out of the park... yes it can be slow, but there is enough sholder once out to re group and the setting is great for pictures.

per the Weather Channel, it looks like we'll have a nice day ... that said, I sincerely hope I didn't jinx it!! With regard to lunch ... we've done this route by motorcycle a few years ago and there was a place on Hwy 101 WEST of PA ... if you take the route from Joyce/PA west towards Sappho/Forks, then turn back east on Hwy 101 there was a place with "Bear" in the name ... Hungry Bear, Grizzly Bear, something like that. It's on the south side of the highway. I can check to see if it's still in existence.
Also a question: will we have trouble getting back onto Hwy 3 out of Kitsap Memorial Park? Would it be easier to meet at the parade grounds in Port Gamble - it's only a little farther north and we'd then be making a right turn back onto the highway so no problem with traffic.

I know it's only Monday and this is Washington in November, but the forcast for Forks for Sunday is only a 20% chance of rain. Anybody still sitting on the fence - we'd love to have you join us!
