If I remember correctly, the stock bar is 17mm. For the money, time and effort spent, you won't be getting much for your investment. If you're just motorin back and forth to work, the stock bar is just fine. (IMHO)

Oops yeah my bad. Rear Sway Bar.. 18mm, not inches. heheh
so anything under 19mm and is not stiff enough? even for a daily driver? |

(18mm?) If it's a rear sway bar, it's rather small (or too short if it's 18"). Look for a rear sway bar in the 19-22mm range depending on how you use your Mini. If it's a front sway bar, you don't need it.
