Details: It's time to rev-up the trash talk! Those p-cars got no boots so let's show'em what kind of good the MINI can haul. That's right! It's time to do some good and this time the challenge is on to do good in support of NW Harvest. Each year Porsche NW Region and the Puget Sound MINI Motoring Club come together for this friendly challenge to see who can haul the most in donations to support NW Harvest. Your cash donations are also welcome (see details below).

Northwest Harvest is Washington's own statewide hunger relief agency. As we get closer to the holidays, let's always remember that not everyone has food on their table every night and that we can all do something to correct that. Let's start now by putting away a little each week in support of this challenge. A list of Suggested Foods for Donation is the best place to start. Let's get ready to fill those boots on December 6th!

On December 6th stock your MINI with as much donations as you can creatively pack in. Meet us in the parking lot at Overlake Christian Church starting a little before noon. We'll have a short drivers' meeting, collect cash (or check!) donations, and then we will take a short motor with our rivals, "that Porsche club", to the NW Harvest drop-off location in Redmond. After you've dropped off your donation head over to Coho Cafe for lunch and continue to brag about how much more good the MINI can pack in the boot than those p-cars!

Cash Donations: You may also donate with your cash or check (made payable to Northwest Harvest). We will collect the checks before the drivers' meeting on December 6th.

A Special Thank You!: Special thank you to Larry Nelson and Pacific Northwest Region of the Porsche Club of America for accepting the challenge and having the courage to take on the MINIs.

It's a special 2-fer Party!
Don't forget that founder and member Kirk is organizing a 10 year get-together for PSMINI members to get together and celebrate MINI and the club. We're still working on plans for this one but the goal is to combine these two events. We'll either start the 10 year late enough in the day so you can participate in both or we'll leave from the NW Harvest event to go straight to a drive and 10 year party. I am in...Lets kick some German car ASS this year

Sounds like fun and a good cause again this year. We will do our best to make it and represent both MINI and Porsche this year. BTW..the Porsche may not have a boot, but it does have a "frunk" aka a front-trunk. See you there!

Tomorrow is the big day when we take on those P-cars for charitable supremacy!

Pack those boots and let's give till it hurts because I guarantee it won't hurt as much as hunger. We will have a significant advantage tomorrow since it is supposed to rain and we all know those Porsche owners won't let their P-car get wet. See everyone at noon.
