Hello, I purchased a used 2004 MCS a week ago with a few mods. I have always liked the MCS and drove a couple. I am in the Army, work down on JBLM but live I Auburn. Here is a list of mods so far from what I can tell: Dinan stage 5 ECU (verified at NW MINI) Dinan Cold air intake Dinan Coil wires I assume Dinan SC pulley but can't tell H&R Coil overs Rear sway bar (can't tell the brand but its blue and adjustable) Invidia cat back exhaust Enkei RSW 17x7 42 et (came with BBS R90 wheels which I will be selling) Cooper (go figure) RS3-A 215/45-17 I am curious what the HP numbers are but don't care enough to pay for dyno time yet. The car isn't crazy fast but SUPER fun to drive! If you know the previous owner or more about the car please let me know. Thanks, Brandon |

Welcome aboard. I remember seeing this on Craigslist a little bit ago. Don't know anything about, but I recall the seller saying something about a front end collision, so make sure you have that checked out to make sure it was repaired correctly.Have fun, and happy motoring!

That is where I purchased it from. It has a rebuilt title but the front end did not appear to have any "major" damage. The bumper is cracked (hence the plati dip the kid to it) also, the core support is cracked in a couple places. It holds together fine but will be replaced. I ended up paying $5250 for the car, so not too bad of a deal for a car that just rolled 90k and hs no major issues. And, thank you for the welcome! |

Not a bad price.
Oh man, does this mean my R53 is also only worth $5250? It just rolled over 80,000 miles last week. |

I hope not! Mine is a rebuilt title... Kid wanted to get something AWD, needed tabs, tires and a windshield.
Kurt, I have been watching your videos for a while now, even before I bought this car... AWESOME WORK! Your H&R video allowed me adjust mine at the auto hobby shop on Fort Lewis last week... Seriously, keep it up and thank you! |
