Any recent experience with replacement batteries, good or bad?  CINIMIN needs a new battery and the best fit replacement I can find seems to be the Super Start AGM Extreme from O'reilly Auto Parts.

The question is, "When you turn on your car does it return the favor?"

Not sure if still correct (2013), but here is a brief summary of where some of the major stores actually get their batteries.  Pretty much only a couple of battery manufacturers supply everyone.

Went to Costco this AM - no longer carrying "Kirkland" branded batteries - now just "Interstate" - but thy do not carry the MINI replacement.  None in The Northwest stores.

Interesting about who makes batteries - One of the websites I checked out had a post by a former employee of one of the big Makers - said that even though mfgr is the same, individual outlets (Costco, Sears, Walmart, etc. specify the design, content, and place of manufacture for the batteries that carry their brand name.

Wound up going to O'Reilly's - expensive - but an ALMOST exact replacement for the OEM - and close to home.

You got a long time on that battery!

I wish there was a local MINI Dealership, like our Honda, Subaru, Mazada and VW.
