MINI (BMW) will recall 2005 - 2008 MINIs to fix a problem with the Passenger Side airbag system - specifically the sensor mat in the Passenger seat. This has been a point of failure for many MINIs. http://www.wsj.com/articles/bmw-recalls-91-800-minis-for-air-bag-fix-1429374069 |

It is intermittent on WOODSTOCK (2005) - no signs of a problem with CINIMIN (2006). I know some people have replaced the mat - if they have the receipt they may be reimbursed for the cost...
