She hasn't been out of the garage in 2 days so I really cant report.  Like I said, she felt pretty sluggish on the way home from Fife.  While  in, they did a complementary oil change without being asked as well as changed the brake fluid. Some sort of regular maintenance schedule thing.  I was surprised by both.

I did ask them to check the coolant as I have been having a little loss.  Already had the tank replaced as it was full of holes.  Not exactly clear where the coolant goes.  Nothing serious, just a little here and there.  They did a pressure test and no leaks.  Said that it is not unusual for a little coolant loss in MINI's.  Small system, not much room for expansion.

I'm getting her out the weekend or die trying.  Will report later on the reflash.  By the way, I am sure the service lady said that it was v40.1.

The question is, "When you turn on your car does it return the favor?"

I experienced the oppisite. I thought minirox had a little more giddie-up. I did have the dinan reloaded and am running the pulley. Still felt a little zippier. But I did take her right out and kept her at about 4000rpms most of the way. Roxy is always telling me to shift, and I always tell her the car is driven from the left side. We are not in England.

heh heh!  Hopefully the flash works out for you guys since the first "recall" flash in this series resulted in rough idle for some people.
