I was on the way to Vancouver BC .. around exit 200+ (Bellingham) when
I got pull over for doing 79 in 60mph zone .. I swear the last speed
sign I saw was 70mph. Anyway I need a good lawyer, the guy I know
only work in King County. If you guys know anyone please let me
know .. thanks

I feel for ya! I got pulled over the other day for going 44 in a 25. I was actually going 50... so the police lady was nice... or my flirting worked.  I have a good lawyer though. If I can find his card I'll post his number here for you.

I used to drive my daughters up to Western Washington University in
Bellingham. That speed change was monitered pretty well by the
State Patrol. The road pleads to be driven at 70 plus but the
speed limit drops. My neighbor's daughter got a ticket there this year
on a weekend drive home from college.

it's not the tickets that hurt... it's the increased insurance premiums...
That said, I paid my ticket (7-years ago) and was fortunate enough to
have a kind insurance company that gave me a one-ticket free pass.

Boy, the MINI really is a cop magnet especially since mine is Electric Blue! Whenever I drive my other vehicles, I never get noticed. After 9 ticket free years, I managed to get TWO tickets within a 3 month period in the MINI. Since then, I've been really careful about speeding in the MINI.
