Do any of you have any experience with Speedware Motorsports in Redmond, WA?

They seem to know their stuff, but I'm not sure how they are in the MINI world.

They have done quite a few mods to minis we are working on a tech session with them. They have installed pulleys and quaife LDS as well as sway bars and springs.

I was over there one day with MINI-Rolls and they had a MINI on the rack that they were installing something on.  They had done all sorts of work on it.  I think we were trying to get a club discount there, but I don't know if it ever happened.

They can not offer any type of discount.  They said their profit margin is too low.  I tried to get then to offer something but they said it would not happen.

I've been in there a couple of times.  I think they have a shop MINI that they race.  Maybe it just belongs to one of the guys but when I was in there they had some video of it on the track playing inside and the MINI was parked out front; rear seat pulled, roll cage, etc.  Pretty nice.  I got a good vibe from them and plan to give them some biz even without the discount because I live on the east side and they are a MINI Madness shop (www.mini-madness.com).  I just need some money to throw at them.

I've had work done on my 03 MCS  and  I'm more than pleased. Pully, springs, B&M shifter and Alignment. I wish it was closer to Puyallup.

I spoke to Andrew at Speedware and hooked him up with Peter @ M7 Tuning.  They are ordering me an M7 16% pulley and an M7 AGS (Air Gain System) to go on my new 05 MCS.

I am torn between the Milltek and the UUC Catback Exhaust.  Do any of you have any recommendations?

I also need a recommendation on the correct ECU flash to take full advantage of these mods.  Any recommendations?

Regards,

minimo

are you getting the AGS with the throttle body or just the runner and filter?  Also, if you don't mind me asking, how much is Speedware charging for the install?

I'm going for the entire AGS, TB and all.

I'll let you know what the price is when I get my car into them.

I had a Alta rear sway bar & 15% pulley installed at Speedware over a year ago.  No problems at all, very happy w/service.  Price was a little higher than other places I got quotes from.

Also, FYI, I had purchased the parts myself online & had Speedware install.  They had no problems with doing it this way, but mentioned that next time, if they order the parts they would warranty the parts as well as the labor.  Meaning any problems, I come back to them instead of dealing with the vendor.  Otherwise, they wouldn't warranty the parts, which makes sense.

Alice is at Speedware right now, having an M7 16% Pulley & Milltek Exhaust installed.

The M7 AGS w/throttle body & heat shield was shipped from California to Speedware, yesterday.  That will probably to on in about a week.

I have downloaded Franz' CarTune and I'll get together with RevKibosh as soon as it is convenient for him.

Is this fun, or what???
