Has anyone else had trouble with getting their Factory Mud Flaps to stay stuck on?

Is there a good fix?  I would REALLY like to know is there is a fix!

I wish there was a local MINI Dealership, like our Honda, Subaru, Mazada and VW.

The funny part, if there is anything funny about frustration, is that when I personally installed the flaps on SMOG-1, I had trouble getting the driver side rear to stick. It took some pretty extreme measures.  I had to remove it and put new double sided sticky tape on the flap and then acetone the wheel flare where the tape contacted the flare.  So, I had the Dealership do SMOG-2 thinking there was something that I did not get right in my installation.

Wrong!  The Dealership has tried twice to get the flap installed correctly and it appears that I am going to have to work my magic to get it done correctly since it would take less time or money to work in my shop that drive to Seattle and have them mess with it again.  Amazing that such a small, seemingly insignificant, item could be problematic...

The Rain Gods are the best explanation I have heard yetWink.
