The forum is a little different since when Todd wrote that, but the concepts are still the same.
To post a picture, you might be able to copy and paste if the picture is already somewhere on the Internet. Copying and pasting will not work if the picture is only on your computer.

In most cases, you need to press the "Full reply editor" button (looks like an arrow pointing to the upper right). Select where in the reply you wish to insert the image.  Then, after resizing your pictures (preferably to around 320 to 640 pixels in width), press the "Insert image" button (looks like a tree).
Then, click 'choose file' and then 'upload'.

You could start a photobucket account which is free, upload pics there then just use the "img link" that each picture will have.  Copy that address and paste it to your message on the forum.

Couldn't find the "Full reply editor button". I have been using the "Insert image" button (and yes, my picture size is less than 150 kb) and after choosing the file and uploading, the upload bar comes on for a few seconds and then nothing, nada, zip. I'm not exactly new to posting images having put dozens on Craigslist and hundreds on eBay. So, what is it I'm doing wrong with this forum?   Ermm

I tried this test pic to see what procedure I went thru.

testing . . .

Here's what I did:
First, resized photo on my computer.
Select Image Insert (tree icon)
select Browse button and located photo on my computer (open)
select Upload button
when picture appears in the window, select OK

Is that the same way you did it?
