I know it's the Triple-X car show weekend but if any of you find some extra time (Saturday or Sunday) come on out to Pacific Raceways in Kent and watch some of the racing action. This is the last race weekend of the year and it's going to be big. So far over 200 registrations and it looks like we will being fielding the biggest grid in PRO3 history. Currently there are 35 PRO3 cars registered plus we expect a few Novice upgrades on Sunday and some late registrations so we could see 40 PRO 3 cars take the green flag on Sunday! That's in addition to the other Group 1 cars so there will be well over 50 cars taking the green flag in Group 1 alone! Can you say "tradin' paint!?!?"  Anyway, there are all kinds of great cars and great racing to watch and it's free. We have practice and qualifying on Saturday (all day) and qualifying and racing on Sunday (all day). Hope to see some of you at the track. If you do come please stop buy and hang out in the BadSRacing paddock for awhile.

Race Announcement and Schedule...

Cheers!

Oh also should mention in addition to our normal group of hooligans racing, we have an "informal" Pros vs. Joes race in Group 5, I'll be racing in that group as well, (we hooligans are the "Joes"). Coming to join us are David Thilenius, 2010 Grand Am ST Champion; Dominic Cicero, ALMS Falken Porsche car pilot and Grand Am GT/DP driver; local hot shoe/Mustang Challenge/Grand Am GS driver Ted Anthony; and maybe one surprise visitor, depending on his Petit LeMans commitment next week. Thumbs Up

Looks like there are two MINIs now registered fore the race weekend in Group 1. Hank in his 2003 Cooper S and Calien in his 2002 Cooper S. I know for a fact Cailien is one of the best PRO3 drivers out there so it will be cool to see him at the wheel of a new MINI. By the way there are now 36 PRO3 cars taking the green at a minimum and a total of 59 taking the green for Group 1 overall! That's huge!

Wow. When we are out there for the performance driving school days, it is usually about 20 cars per group, and we have dedicated passing zones and passing rules. I can't imagine doing it with 58 other bloodthirsty drivers!
Be careful out there!

Martin, sounds like you are going to have a GREAT weekend!

So cool there are a couple of Mini's running. Don't know if Hank is the same guy that works on Brian P.'s car over in Spokane, but Brian did say he has a Mini that he turned into a full on race car.

Have fun & be safe!

Cheers!

Good Luck Martin
If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough.
