"Check Gas Cap" warning light

   I have recently had the check gas cap warning light and the SES light come on.  The car is also idling rough. I haven't yet had a chance to attach a code reader but will do it this weekend. Has anyone else has this issue?  Is there a DIY fix or do I need to go to a mechanic?

	BTW-yes I did check the gas cap.
