Visual Boost + Iphone 4 cradle

   Has anyone purchased the iphone cradle for the Visual boost system w/smartphone in the armrest yet?  I have been over on northamericanmotoring looking for answers but with the way that particular thread drags out the thread went from dont get it it doesnt work as well as advertised because the cradle was just coming out and wasnt fully supported to everyone is just going with the newer y cable but it breaks and is too short.  

Was just curious if anyone had any clues here on it before I spent the money to figure it out myself.
