Interview with Allan McNish (ex Formula 1 driver, Le Mans winner, etc, so he is the real deal).  This video shows how good of instructors we have.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-U-2WNfv5w

Start from 11:20.  Talks about hands, driving positons, where your hands should be, how you should hold the steering wheel.

At around 15:00, he talks about not forcing the car in a turn, and letting it go wide (use the track).  This is exactly like at Turn 3a at Pacific Raceways.

15:40 talks about feet and braking, and weight transfer.

19:50 talks about suspension setup.

21:45 looking ahead.

25:10 being one with the car (from feedback to seating).

Excellent interview!

I guess this guy does not text and driveBig smile  what he was saying about driving ahead is soooo true.

I wish there was a local MINI Dealership, like our Honda, Subaru, Mazada and VW.
