I need to add some kind of graphic on my hood scoop but I ran out of ideas.

I am open for suggestion! PLEASE!

I was thinking on a black/red union jack with the center vertical line in white so that will match the one on the bonnet but I'm not sold yet.

Thank you!

I always thoght it would be cool to have it look like some kind of "critter" was crawling into the scoop - with just the back half showing - maybe a big spider or some kind of reptile - Never mentioned this to Linda cause I know what her reaction would be...

How about a 2 blade propeller?

I wish there was a local MINI Dealership, like our Honda, Subaru, Mazada and VW.

Oh man! If I would do a spider my sister in law would delete me from her Facebook's friends. Lol
I dunno if a prop would go well with the whole "aggressive" theme.

What do you think about the union jack?

Thanks guys! Keep thinking!

my 2 cents below...but your car already looks great so anything you do would add to it BowDown

if you like an "italian job" decal you could vary it up by translating it "il lavoro italiano"

how about a "keep clear" stenciled on like the warning on jet engine intake areas

also here's site I found that might get the creative juices flowing

Stefano:

Isn't air racing aggressive enough??  There must be some air racing logos that would work.

That Sicilian Trincera decal is pretty cool!   http://www.cafepress.com/+sicilian_trincera_sticker_oval,286679574  Nice colors for your MINI and the legs remind me of a prop, among other thoughtsBig smile.  There is also the connection to the Isle of Man, and those folks know racing!

I also like the "Keep Clear"

Stephen

I too like the Union Jack idea, and it would be unique in that color scheme, but it does stray from your Italian Job theme.  Hmmmm. I'm very undecided.

LOVE the RED mirror covers - your car looks great!

Looks like the A-6 incident on the aircraft carrier, but a much better looking accident victim.  Sadly, she did not have a belt to save her, like the deckhand that got sucked into the intake.

Leogetz- I like the Keep Clear idea a lot!

Stephen- i don't know if i am going to be able to put something sicilian on my Mini. My father is from sicily but... it's almost like having written "redneck" con a truck. ahahah

GenieB- thank you. I am not sure if I want to keep the italianJob theme since I'm not "the Blue" one anymore :)

John- I like some of those sticker but I don't wanna put any "italian things" on the car. I may like an ItalianJob sticker but the percentage that I would choose this way is really low.

I am gonna do the graphic by cutting it out some vinyl rolls that i have at home. So nothing to complicate. I can go as complicate as a DANGER sign or something like it. Im pretty sure Im not able to do the sicilian thing with some vinyl and an exacto knife.

So so far I'm undecided between the Red/Black union Jack
                                                        ItalianJob(red job)
                                                        Keep clear

But I'm not sold yet.

I also looked at the "danger Jet Intake sign" but then it will look like the pontiac logo.

mmmmmmmhhh

Thanks guys and keep thinking! :)

Stefano

The 2006 MINI GPs have the letters "GP" outlined in the scoop area which is really cool.  You could consider doing "IJ" in the same style.

I like "Keep Clear" or maybe "Do not step" :-)

I think words look good in there.

My bonnet scoop I put a Revolution MINI works sticker there over a year ago, just for the heck of it, but it seems to really match the look of the car so it's been stuck on there ever since.

(Picture in case anyone doesn't know what the front of my car looks like:)

looking good Stefano! I like the way you aligned the color scheme with the overall paint job of the car.

Thank you! the alignment thing wasn't really planned. I'm a little mad that I didn't consider that while I was planning the graphic and now is off set! Too late know. ahahahah
