anyone add seat heaters to their mini?
im in the process of doing that to one of  my minis now.
got the back done no issues.
the bottom on the other hand..

it has the seat occupied sensor mat lower cushion.
the instructions say dont lay the heating pad directly on the seat occupied mat.
but to lay it on foam like the OEM directions in the service manual.

well i dont have the service manual and i have a seat torn apart in my living room..

anyone know the answer?

should i just goto joanns fabric and get a piece of thin foam as a spacer?

thanks for any input.

I wouldn't add foam. it will change the appearance of the seat when you put it back together.

You might need to carefully split the foam with a sharp razor, insert the bits and the glue it back together.
