I spotted the JCW leather dash (complete with red stitching) at the dealership before the rally on Sunday. I'm trying to decide if that's an install I could do myself or if I should wait the 2-3 weeks it would take for NW Mini to have time to install it, not to mention the cost. Since I have absolutely no idea what that would involve, I'm looking to the group for some feedback. Thanks!

Look through here: http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php?faq=faq_interior#faq_faq_ aux_input If memory serves, this is something that you should be able to do yourself. I bookmarked that one when researching installation of the Aux input.

I haven't researched the install but I am pretty sure that your existing dash pad stays in place so the other pieces should be pretty easy.
