Anyone who has to crane their neck and bend down to see the traffic lights when you're in front at a stop light should check out the 'Light in Sight' solution.  If you are tall OR short and have the seat raised all the way up, as I do, your visibility is restricted when trying to see the stop light.  I think it's especially helpful in the cabrios.  I love the one in Woodstock.
 
We're going to do a group buy at $15 $12 each.  Who's interested?  We need at least 10, although if we have less than that we can get them for $16 if we buy from 2-10.  (Outmotoring, WayMotors, etc., sell them for $18 ea.)  Sign up by posting here if you are interested.

Ok, everyone, I placed the order (got you in as well, Maureen) and got just a couple of extras to round out the number and put us into a higher discount bracket.  I'm pleased to say that the cost has come down to $12 ea!
 
They will ship them today and IF they come in before I leave for MITM/MTTS on Sunday, I will bring them Saturday night and Sunday morning.  Otherwise, I'll make arrangements to get them to you and handle payment when I get back at the picnic or arrange for shipping.

I heard back right away from Brian Carpenter at Light in Sight when I asked the question posed by MCS Fever.  Here's his response:

It's theoretically possible at certain angles, but since the lens disperses light rays rather than focusing them, the risk is minimal.  In addition, if it is put on the upper portion of the windshield the sun visor could be lowered to block the driver's view of the lens.  

 

I've been basically running this company for over six years now.  I think I've had one person make this complaint and demand his money back.  If memory serves, the car was a Land Rover with a  very flat windshield.  We've never had a complaint of this nature on a Mini to my knowledge.  

 

We are, of course, quite willing to refund the purchaser's money within a reasonable amount of time if he or she is not satisfied with the lens.
