OK, Round 2...

I'm looking to fill out a Group Buy to pull the price down.  I'm 'talking' to three different sites, and I'll try to get the best price for the fewest number of people.  I know that a whole lot of people got Grill Badges the last time, but we have had some new people, so I'm starting ROUND 2 (ding-ding)

The old link has been archived, this should work:
http://motoringfile.com/2006/03/30/motoringfile-grille-badge s/#more-4754

Also: http://motoringfile.com/2006/05/25/mf-magnetic-grille-badges -updated-4/

OK, it looks like we're shooting for about $18 each for at least 10 people, and $17.50 each for at least 20 people.  These holders are between $20-$25 elsewhere.  The more the merrier, and CHEAPER!!!

List so far:
1. QandElf
2. QandElf
3. Mozleron
4. kenru
5. Wildfamily
6. RORO
7. RORO
8. CINIMIN
9. Covington MINI
10. Red Dwarf
(Minimum for Group Buy at $18, which includes S&H)
11.
12.
13.
14.

16.
17.
18.
19.
20.
(With at least 20, Price is $17.50, including S&H)
21. ???

Count us in. We've had our baby a couple of weeks now and it's dress-up time! Do we need to sign up for the club badges too or is that down the road?

Need some more people!!!  This is one of the benefits of being part of a club!  It may seem trivial to some, a buck here, a buck there, but with the Group Buys and Club Discounts, my PSMINI Membership has paid for itself.  With the money I saved going in on a group buy for the pulleys, I think it's paid for membership for the next 5 years!  This is why I'd ultimately like to shoot for 20 people.  The discount price of the Holder remains the same ($17), but the S&H is reduced to only $10 for the WHOLE ORDER.  That way, it's only $17.50 PER BADGE HOLDER!!!

Come on, PSMINI Members!  We're talking a great deal here!!!  If interest doesn't perk up, I'll just leave it at the $18 per, and order them when we hit number 10.

I'm in for another one, too.  I'm going to have to have my two, so I can display my PSMINI badge (when I get it) along with another one.

We're almost there!  I should point out that several sites (OK, two, so a couple) have recommended limiting grill badges to two, due to air flow restrictions.  For those of you who have only bought one, how will you choose when to display your PSMINI badge, and when to display your [15%/16%/17% Faster; Slow Traffic <- thgiR evoM; or GB roundel] badge???  Buy two, or a second, and eliminate the worry wrinkles and crow's feet that may mar your smile as you Motor!

Put the Red Dwarf down for one (1), and keep me advised on when to pay etc. I've already drilled holes in some of that black plastic behind the grill for one of mour badges.Ciao, Bill

Must have OEM Rally Lights ...  I've seen some cool set-ups on the IBOC (Indi Blue Owner's Club) Forum that included HELLA Driving lights mounted on either side of the front Euro Plate.  Lessens the air blokage to the bits that need the air flow, and allows mounting of 2 Badge Holders .

$1.60 (if you want me to ship it to you vice getting it during the Winged Victory Rally, or Pulley Party)

I will contact all seperately with my mailing address, so it's not wide open on the www...

Some confusing, and sad, news...

Nick at Morristown MINI shipped our holders out FedEx on the 6th of June, well over a week ago.  FedEx shows that they picked them up on the 6th and sent them to another city in New Jersey on the 7th, then no progress!?!

I've tried to shake the walls at FedEx, and Nick is looking into it from his end.  I'm really sorry about this.  Nick said he's used to it only taking 3-4 days to get out to Washington (but 5-7 days to California... weird).  I will ship them out fastest possible to those who wanted them shipped, when I get them.

Heya.  Things like this happen.  I just appreciate that you're on the case!  I'm surprised to hear this about FedEx, though.  I mean, if this were DHL, I'd consider it business as usual, but FedEx is usually on the ball.

I am sure they will show up soon.  Don't worry about it though, nothing you can do.  I am also a little surprised that it is Fed Ex.

Well, I have a good update.  FedEx has tracked the Package to Silverdale, WA, which means I should receive the holders tomorrow (I thought today).  I will ship them out to those in need ASAP tomorrow!!!

BTW - I'm not suprised with it being FedEx, but I've had issues with them before.  Not everyone has problems with them, and I've never used DHL to know either way... what can I say, What can Brown do for You?

Odd - never had a problem with FedEx - but the stories I could tell you about UPS . . .

Package received, and those that paid for shipping to them have the holders on the way!

As for the UPS/FedEx/DHL discussion, I was turned off most by FedEx while I was stationed overseas.  For 'local' offices to Sardinia, DHL was one town over (though not really used), UPS was in the closest 'big' town, and FedEx was across the Med in Milan.  They tried to force my to pay an extra $400 for them to deliver packages, beyond what my Father-in-Law had already paid.  I refused, and they disappeared.  Have only had one or two problems with UPS (so far).

As an add-on: Nick at Morristown MINI has been GREAT!  If anyone has checked their website lately, you'd see they are already doing a 30% off special.  Nick gave us an additional $1 off, which may not seem like much, but it means that even if you paid to get it shipped to you from my end, you are still saving over S&H if we hadn't done the Group Buy!
