Hi,

My name is Steve and I just purchased an 03 MINI Cooper at a tent sale at KMart in Olympia. It was actually a dealer (Whitney's) having all there used cars on one lot. It is an 03 Pure Silver Metalic with Black top, Sun roof, 17" wheels and tires, CVT, Winter Option, etc. I am still trying to figure out all the "options" that this car has.
My "other" ride is a BMW motorcycle - thus the name - K1200LT. I had a nice talk with Dave (PSMINI - president) at NWMINI yesterday and am looking forward to meeting a few more of you. Being a biker, I LOVE to explore backroads (paved) and have a made a hobby of it. Example - last summer on a road trip to and from Pocatello,ID my wife and I rode on 21 senic byways.

Welcome Steve, it was a pleasure to meet you.  We also love to explore back paved roads and found that many MINI owners in the area have not really explored the Pacific NW.  We are doing that monthly.  We just did a drive from Auburn to Black Diamond to Renton all via backroads.  We are going to have some Olympia events and look forward to you joining us.  I can tll you from experience that the CVT is ablast to drive, I had an 03 VR/W CVT just a great car.
