Hi.  I just joined the Forum and have my PSMMC Registration Form printed out next to me, waiting to put it in the mail.  Am a new Mini owner as of May 12 --- am in love!  Live in the Cascades foothills east so can swell your ranks there.  My Mini is a 2004 JCW MCS BRG/B.    Smile

We can probably arrange that.  Haven't been on too many road trips yet, unless you count back and forth to Bellevue for a meeting as a "trip"!  Thanks for the welcome.

Whoo Hoo!  Welcome to the forum and we'll look forward to having you as a member as well!  Lots of good events coming up.  There are coffee meetups planned this weekend and we have the East Meets West Potluck in a couple of weeks up at Mount Rainier.  Come say hello whenever you can!  Your car sounds like a beauty.

Welcome to the Club - always nice to have another East Sider joining us.  Wish you could have been with us for the two day wine tasting tour we did last weekend - everyone seemed to have a good time - 40 MINIs at various times took part.

Don't be bashful about asking questions about MINIs or the Forums - lots of knowledge available here and people willing to share their experience.

Thanks to all the kind words.  Since you gave me permission to ask questions, how do I respond to someone's reply?  Seems like the "Reply" button at the bottom of the page is going to cause me to post a reply to my initial post.  ??

In response to all, I am tentatively hoping to attend the West meets East on June 7th though am still securing a passenger and am a bit anxious (thus my nickname!) about all the unknowns.    As for how often I get to Bellevue, not too often, depending upon location of meeting.

Enough confusion for one day.  To sleep!  Sleepy

Welcome CalicoBunny!  Too bad we missed you this past weekend on the Haulin' Ash Wine Tour.  Hope to meet you at the East Meets West at Paradise or sometime before the year's over.  So you have a JCW...  I'm wishing I would've spent the extra money now and got one of those instead of just the S.  Oh well... maybe next time I buy a MINI. Wink  I love the BRG too.  If I could manage to have another Mini, that color would be one of the runner ups.

Happy motoring,
Brenda Smile

P.s.  Post some pics of your baby and you when you have the chance.  Mods and extras?

Welcome!  We've got an '04 MCS JCW also.  It is HANDS DOWN the most fun car I have ever owned.  (not to mention the great group of people who come with owning a MINI)  Hopefully we'll see you at an event or drive soon.

Yes.  I am all about bunnies (real mature, I know, at my age!), thus the name Thumper for my "new" used MINI.  It is a bunny wearying bunny slippers and he dances on my dashboard.  Keeps me smiling as I drive. Big%20smile

Welcome to PSMINI Thumbs%20Up. ( Bugs Bunny is my favorite cartoon character ever Smile but that partly has to do with how he's so resourceful and annoying ).

No, I don't have a photo of my bunny, AND I can take one and post it.  Give me a day or so.  Thumper is sleeping in a dark garage.

Whoo hoo CalicoBunny!  I live in Thorp!  We could get together somewhere in town one of these days!  I am Anna and I call my car Beanybaby (like the Ty) and now my other half is checking them out to get his own!  No he has never driven mine!!! LOL  We have 2 bunnies, BabyBunny and BrownBunny, real original names!  They are live bunnies.  We lost BlackBunny Jan 5.  It was really sad.  We have a lot in common - bunnies and MINIs!

Here's a larger photo of my mirror Bunny, as requested.

Anna, you said you live on the Thorp Hwy.  I ride my bike that way all the time and have not yet seen any MINIs.  Must be kept safely parked in a garage, like Thumper. Big%20smile  Can't believe your "other half" has never driven your MINI . . . I couldn't keep Mike away from mine.  He is definitely the racecar driver in this family!

Well, he drove it tonight for first time - went about a mile!!!!!!  I live at the very end of North Thorp Hwy, by Hwy 10.  No, I don't have a garage, but live on a hill, so maybe you don't look up (no one does!) since there are no shoulders and steep drop off on either side of road, but I park by the barn nearest the street!  If I am home, the car is there!!!!  Maybe we could meet for coffee or something and talk bunnies and minis!!!   Anna
