Hi everyone, new to these forums and excited to gain the wisdom of the group!

We have a 2009 mini cooper hardtop. We have a kayak rack for the roof but want to secure the front and rear with support lines. We think that out that the tie points are under a cover on the bumpers and need an additional part to make them useful. Is this a dealer job or a good Seattle area (we are on Vashon) place to go get this modification made? Any other kayak haulers out there with tips?
