Hi. I'm new to this mini ownership. Since purchasing my car in December ive has to replace the head due to a cracked one. replaced the timing chain tensioner sump gasket and matrix. I also had to change the oil from 5-30w to 5-40w as on the previous oil it was noisy on start-up All seems to be running ok apart from grey smoke when I'm starting from cold this do however clear. I also have what could only by described as high pitched scream like a balloon leaking air. This is also on the first few moments of the car being started in the cold. Belt has been replaced. is this smoke normal or is it something to worry about.  |
