Just thought i'd post a blurb about the beginning of my quad-light-bar install adventure... Just ordered up a set of 4 HELLA 500 Black Magic driving lights ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00318JTCS - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00318JTCS ) and a quad-light-bar from VIP ( http://vipcustomparts.com/driving%20lights.htm - http://vipcustomparts.com/driving%20lights.htm ). My goal is after the light bar is installed, I'd work on doing a chrome blackout. I am going to be installing this on my '09 Cooper S Clubman, Sparkling Silver/Black roof, black viper bonnet/boot stripes. I'll be sure to do a before and after photo shoot. Now my decision is to figure out how I want to wire them up. Do I want them to only come on with high-beams or have the ability to turn them on at anytime (not dependent on headlight use). Or I can do a half and half sort of setup, but that just seems like it'd get confusing/annoying. Anyway, once I get them installed I'll report back on how it went. I will do my best to document the steps as I go and post it in case anyone's thinking about doing the same. Likewise, if anyone has already done an install like this, I'd love to hear about it (either dual or quad driving lights). ------------- 09 Cooper S Clubman Spklg Silver/Black
