I'm up for a North End meetup. Sundays work better for me too (28th or 5th). Yes sir! and remember... we are not parking for an event. We simply happen to all coverage at the same place for donuts while driving MINI's at the same time ;) (everyone buy a donut and/or coffee and they won't mind us using their parking lot is my guess). |

Since many of you will be "close", come up to Lake Stevens Aquafest. Car Show is on Sunday at the Northlake Middle School track/field. Awesome  My girl Ashley and I are pretty shy and she's only into cars for A to B purposes, when she told Tracy she liked the Ice Blue I about shat myself! She's never done that before with VW, Mazda or any other gtg/show/drive. It was great seeing everyone yesterday. I think I'm still on a sugar high. Good conversation all around. I'm just sorry some of you left before "the woman in the red clubman" arrived. OH MY! That was hilarious. My favorite quote "I've found my people! My husband won't believe me." I do seriously hope she finds the club and makes it to the picnic. Shame on me for not having the PSMINI cards in my glove box. Tracey and I did motor north to Lake Stevens where we saw the gorgeous CREAMPUFF doing her thing at the Aquafest Classic Car Show. Lake Stevens has an interesting definition of "classic" but there were some very nice cars there. See everyone at the picnic if not before. |

Unfortunately, I had three funerals to attend this weekend. The first funeral of the day was a firefighter that I had the privilege to be an apprentice under during my first year as a probationary FF. It turns out he was the missing scuba diver off Bainbridge Island on Tuesday!
