PSMINI Family Picnic

Great time today at Silverlake! Thanks for putting this event together and for all of the great food and games. The sun even came out in the afternoon! Thanks everybody for attending. Here are a few pictures I captured...

Thanks to Kelly and David and all who contributed to make this a very enjoyable day - weather could have been a little better but at least it wasn't stiflingly hot...  And the Parks People invited us back for next year - always a good sign for the club.

Elliott and I would like to thank everybody who made this picnic happen today.  Even though we arrived kind of late, we had a good time.  Here's just a few pictures:



Through the haze is grill master Belinda.  In a fully zipped up warm up suit while standing over a hot BBQ grill on a not really all that cold day.  Reminds me of a reporter on the morning show who wears long johns if it is 60 degrees or below when she gets up.



Don't bother with toys.  Just get the kids a big wad of crepe paper.



I spent a good part of the day down at the playground part- which was OK, because it's a great playground.  Later, Elliott actually tried swimming, but said the small cut on his foot hurt too much.  I think it was the water temperature.

P.S.- what happened to "GIR"?  I saw a picture that looked like it was on a flatbed with some body damage...

GIR got clobbered by an out of state driver pulling a 5th Wheel and trying to do a U-turn on 128th Street - He was able to drive to the picnic site but the car had to be flat-bedded to the repair site.  Fortunately no injuries but some significant damage to a beautiful MINI....    Other driver had insurance and we hope to see GIR back on the road soon.

People are just going to have to wonder about some of the things going on in the other pictures - Kelly and David mad sure we all had Fun and Games - as promised.

Thank you for such a wonderful time, the food was great and the company was even greater! Awesome pictures of picnic and the games that followed - kind of got weird at the games - a head bangers concert gone wild, people were going nuts stacking nuts, too many tissues for the issues, and what looked like the a race to the core with a roll of colored toilet paper of madness.

So many thanks to everyone. Linda & Jack, David & Kelley great drive, and to ItalianJob the best tiramusu.  Sad for Louis aka GIR hope he gets his mini back just like new. Calvin great photos too.

It's was an experiment, my first Tiramisu' I ever maid! I bet my "Italian blood" helped me out a little bit.
