Due to family needs and moving and several other reasons, I had to sell my R53 back in July, a gentleman and his wife who flew into Seattle from Utah and drove it home are hopefully still enjoying it. I've been dying to get back into a MINI but I knew it would have to be MUCH more utilitarian and family friendly. So after a month or so of doing build configurations online, I finally went down to Northwest MINI in Tacoma yesterday and placed my order for a new Countryman S ALL4 (6-speed manual). For now I'm just doing a 3 year lease because I'm interested to see what will happen with the redesigned Countryman in a year or two. If I don't like it, I'll pay this one off and keep it. If the new CM is all it's supposed to be (more power, better economy, etch) I'll go for one of those. Of course I don't have actual pictures of it yet, but this is it: It's not a high-option vehicle, I only wanted a few specific things which were comfort access, flat-load floor, the center armrest, JCW interior (all black with red stitching), and that's about it. No fancy stereo, no sunroof, etc, just a good looking and fun car that will be good for my small family and small dog. :) Edited by bnr32jason - December/14/14 at 10:21am |
