Hello,
 
I have just been introduced to the site by Hapa Haole! Thank you! Thumbs%20Up
 
My husband calls me, my Mini, and his Land Rover, his 3 British exports. Haha. 
 
We arrived here in Washington last July.  Which gave me 4 months to drive her in the UK.  We managed to sneak in a trip across the channel tunel to France, which was really cool.  They drive FAST there! Lots of fun.
 
Anyway, I am looking forward to chatting to and meeting up with other Mini lovers in the area.
 
I have been trying to attach a picture, but it doesn't like my files for some reason!?

Welcome, Laura!  I think you'll like it here.  Getting to drive the Chunnel must have been quite the experience!

How funny that you should mention the English Channel/Tunnel.  We were just discussing that with some friends last week (your neighbors the Sherrills).  That is something I've always wanted to do!  How long is that tunnel anyway? 
 
I'm looking forward to seeing you on some upcoming drives... I'm surprised we haven't run into each other since we're only live about 4 miles from each other.

  The Chunnel is a fun event, unless you are the unlucky ones that get caught in a fire.  Cynthia and I were on our way to Paris years ago for her Birthday surprise...well she was surprised...flames and smoke and it wasn't her candles.Shocked
  Once again, welcome to a wonderful group of owners as well.

We would love to do the wine run, but yes, we are hosting Bunco that night.
I'm very tempted to see if we could change it to the following week, so that we can do both!  I'll see what people think.

Also, I got the days mixed up.  The wine tour is May 17 & 18.  I believe you'll be on vacation (out of State/out of the country)?  June 7 is the East meets West:
June 7 - East Meets West On A Drive To Paradise (Mt. Rainier)
