In an effort to help everyone have spotted cards all the time we have decided to make them available online so you can print you own.  We have made it so you can add your username to the card.  It is setup to print on business card stock.  If you have any questions please let us know. We will still have generic cards at events.

I tried to pull up the doc and the lettering is shadowed or like ghost lettering behing. What program is this in?

I printed it thinking it would correct itself and it didn't.

Great idea and I look forward to using it.

Any chance that the "You Were Spotted" Word document can be updated to include the name of our club and MINI graphic which both appear at the top of the cards I received last summer?

I'm confused, Buck.  When I open the doc in this thread, it has the name of the club and the PSMINI graphic.  Are you seeing something different?

Linda ... The top half of the card is blank, at least for me, both when I view it on-line or save it and open off-line.  So, I am obviously doing something wrong.  Any clues would be appreciated.

Update.  OK, now that I know it is there, I played around and was able to find it by editting this object - so it is there.  It just does not appear anywhere except during this editting routine.  All I see is a blank upper half of the card.

CT I have the same problem with my computer. I have to go to my Wifes computer because she has the full office version and not just WORD PAD.

Morning John.  I wish that was my problem.  Too bad I have full blown Office Software, in this case Word 2000 v9 SP3.  IMHO ... The world would be much better off with WordPerfect.  Word is just too damn automatic, and I don't have time to figure out how to turn some of this chit off.  Of couse in a perfect world, we wouldn't have a Registry either.

For a while I suppose.  Tonight is first mod install night, not to mention really looking under the hood and elsewhere.  Found a power outlet in the boot I never knew existed.  Did the PULSAR and fourth (bottom center) brake light, and the easy things like back seat straps, GBT, valve stem covers.  Probably will get to the psmini sticker and badge holder too.  Want to measure for the jack beam and my wood version of JP inserts, but these are for the top of two different style jack stands - one set flat on top (actually a slight break on two sides) and one set V-shaped.  Since these don't have the center hole like our jacks, they'll have to have four dropped sides to keep them in place.  I'd rather they were metal, but I don't have the tools or skills to work with heavy metal.  Expecting a couple torque wrenches and then I can get more serious - like STB, engine bushing and torque damper to get warmed up.  Looking for a place to mount a small oil cooler to help the OCC I'll get soon - hence the tube bender questions.  Got the Fitch unit for my truck the other day.  If all goes well with that, the same unit will be used in the MINI, so I'm checking on mounting for that.

What about you?  Got that front dam figured yet.  What are you actually calling that?

Lets take the front dam, I like the way Pat comes up with things he is calling it a F-Lip I suggested a FAD(front air dam)  I will have to explain the F-Lip thing later. I really want to get side skirts on because thats what really makes a air dam work for performance.

Waiting to help out with the jack stuff the welding your talking about is not a big deal.

PERSISTENCE YIELDS SUCCESS!

After an hour or so of finding no help in "Help", and then screwing around with "Tools", "Options", for another hour, problem is solved.  Under "View", "Picture Placeholders" must be unchecked and "Drawings" must be checked.  Isn't that intuitive!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry John.  Keep using the wife's puter for the heavy duty word processsing.  Indeed, this one is too much for Notepad (file too big) and Wordpad (illegal operation).

Now, back to more important things in the garage.
